So im new to this pick up thing, i discovered it a few weeks ago, and have been reading non-stop. I started with DYD, The Game, Mystery Method, and I'm currently reading Art of Seduction. Now since I'm only 17, i cant go out clubbing, and i don't feel comfortable opening sets at my school. This is only because i don't want to be made a fool of if i fail. (AFC?)

Now my Senior Prom is coming up Saturday, and I'm going stag because i plan on this being my first night in the field. This is probably my only chance to get any before i leave high school (for some reason im not invited to parties), and i want this to work. Here are some obstacles I'm not sure how to deal with:

.Friends (How do i leave them, and work my magic without them noticing? they will rip me if i fail, we're fairly competetive)

.Opening ( I'm extremely social, i just have pretty much nothing in common with girls. i never know what to talk about.)
