Hello all. I'm going backpacking through Europe this summer for about 3 weeks (paris, amsterdam, berlin, prague, budapest, vienna, munich, venice, zurich, rome, barcelona, etc). I have been into the game for a while, although this is my first time on this site. My question is for all of you over there or who have been, where are the good cities to go sarging? not sure how much farther east than budapest well be going but both of us are definitely looking for this holy grail of the coveted clubs of eastern europe haha. so if you have any advice on cities or specific clubs it would be much appreciated. thanks

The best clubs are in the capital cities. It's more rural over there, so the cities are big and that's when you find the biggest parties. In Warsaw, i hear the trippiest club is called "Luzztro." It's underground. I probably didn't contribue much to this thread, besides maybe saving you the trouble of looking for clubs in the smaller towns. But you already knew that =D

Split, Croatia has some pretty nice Ibiza-style clubs & Tirana, Albania has a lot of nice places.

why are you only going to obvious tourist places?

try Croatia and Latvia.

well with only three weeks to work with we were trying to hit up some of the regular tourist sites while still getting a taste of the 'real' europe, ie clubs and that scene. From the replies im thinking we may need to head a little farther east to get to the goods, but i would think at the very least of the cities i initially mentioned prague and budapest would have some good clubs. but again, the itinerary is certainly not set in stone, so if the overwhelming consensus is "go to (specific city)" or "add a leg from berlin to warsaw" or whatever, then i have a feeling that is exactly what we shall do!

latvia is known in the community as having the most gorgeous women.

and Bonita, one of the foopahs here, is like fresh off the boat from Croatia.
