So my buddy and I went to some art festival thing downtown. I approached two girls with no problem. Talked to them and what not. Maybe for 2 minutes max. As I talked to them or asked them questions, they laugh before responding. Does this mean they are being flirty or did I do something wrong?

I even got the girls number. Usually when approaching I dont pay attention to anyone around me. After I got her number I noticed a group of guys saying ahhhhhh like I totally scored. My friend even said they were tape recording.

But that doesn't matter because when I text her I got no response. So the first question is why they laugh before responding and how can I go further after getting the number?

Laughter is a sign of supplication. Notice in the movies, when all the bigwigs are in the boardroom, they laugh when the boss man makes a joke. The boss man rarely laughs.

so what does it mean?

Seriously, it could mean anything.

Just off the top of my head:

They are attracted and laughing because you are cute and they are nervous.

They release the social pressure by laughing. Ventilating embarrassment.

They hide something.

They have just talked about people approaching on the street and found it funny.

They found you hilarious.

They found you ridiculus.

They found you retarded.

They found your T-shirt ridiculus.

They were happy.

They thought that your approach sounded like something from "The Game".

They were just laughing because thats who they were.



It is impossible to say what of the reasons they were laughing for. It does not matter. You just go on sarging like always. You shouldnt care too much and analyze too much, dont obsess over this. Be very careful when you draw conclusions because when you do you give a behaviour too much importance.

I have been in sets where they have thought I was an idiot but I have still walked away with her number and I have been in sets where they were totally into me just to crash and burn 5 minutes later...
