I havent used the mystery method yet but Im a little afraid to try it since so many people are doing it now Im thinking the second I approach with "let me get your opinion" they'll no exactly what im doing. So my question is have you guys ever been busted out by a set for using the mystery method? or have u ever herd "i know what your doing! your trying to pick us up!"?

only the new guys use mystery method.

hell, even mystery doesn't use real mystery method, he does natural game with maybe a routine or two that can be backward rationalized as MM.

MM is for the guys that have NO SOCIAL SKILL since it is designed to make it into a science so those nerdy guys can relate it to WoW


oh, and it doesn't matter if you get called out. it never does. I read pick up literature in public and girls approach and get gamed like the rest.

Heres how much it doesn't matter if they know:

Grab the "dating for dummies" book.
Walk up to a hot chick and read something from it to her.
If she's cool she'll love you and laugh her head off.

I tested this at library. Just for fun. The girls were saying things like "OH my GOD!! and laughing their asses off.

Heres another good pick-up line:

Hi! I'm picking up girls today, whats your name?

@Kristall and Metal: LOL yeah, even Neil Strauss used that gimmick in "The Game". Pulls out a pocket-sized book of Pick Up Lines and asks, "Hi ladies, which one of these lines do you think is the best?", then starts reading them off one by one. Awesome.

And although I'm just a beginner, I have to agree that the "opinion opener" is probably in the same oldies bin as "You must be tired, 'cause you've been running through my mind all night". As for the MM, although the canned material is probably next to useless, his 3 stages (Attraction - Comfort - Seduction) still apply. The material on kino is also still golden IMHO.
