I watched the movie Fight Club but I still don't understand how it is related to PU. Can someone please explain this to me?

Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt's character) exhibits exceptional body language and demonstrates his alpha male dominance throughout the movie. He doesn't care what anyone thinks, and goes about things on his own terms.

I think it's related to pickup with regards to his demeanor, rather than him actually seducing women. That would be my educated guess. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong...

It's a men's movie. Men love it. It's alpha, it's vulgar, it caries a deep philosophical message behind it and it's fuckin cool.

Well ACTUALLY it's NOT because he is alpha (that's a freaking ridicules reason, so is any hero in an action movie)

-well first off all because it is cool
- second, it's a "secret" man society, and PUA is supposedably a secret society too
-it's about a change a man made, a man who's life was boring, who suffocated from the randomness of his own being, so he became someone else, like some people in the pua world, they were nobodies, now they're at the top of the world
-it's about being free by "going against the stream" and against everything which is considered the social standard which every PUA should do
-did mentioned it is cool?

I personally don't think it really relates to PU, but it is a cool movie

its not got anything to do with the community other than Tyler durden from RSD being a huge fan and stealing the main charaters name

however there is lots in common in found the game in a recommended reading after fight club book thats how i stumbled across this whole thing

there both secret societies both about men trying to break free from the social matrix and better there lives

Fight club is a awesum book and movie i seriously suggest reading and watching

I consider it more relevant in the recreate your life into what you want it to be, not what society thinks it should be.
