I've recently had 2 situations where I had my gameface on but the surroundings just did NOT seem to allow anything. I know this breaks the rules of "always trying" but I seriously couldnt figure out how to do anything. any tips?

Situation 1: Girl that was interested in me came over to friends house. we all hung out from like 11pm - 3am, but all we did was watch movies. it was late, everyone was quiet and sitting on couches. She sat in a small loveseat sprawled out on it and I was on the couch on the other side of the room. No one really talked all night, we just watched the movies.

The few moments where conversation did strike up I tried to become the center of attention a bit, but eventually itd just die back into everyone watching the movie.

Situation 2: Went to a dinner party for a girls birthday, turned out she was cute and I heard shes single and looking for some fun, so I put on my game face. I got alot of eye contact, but she was surrounded by 20+ people, friends and whatnot. They wouldnt stop swarming on her and getting her attention for things. I got a lot of eye contact and we would strike up some conversation here and there but only for very small moments at a time. after the party was over we all went our seperate ways.

From there, I sent her a message on facebook when I got home wishing her a final happy birthday and called her cute, she responded with a thanks and called me sweetie, then requested a friend add on facebook with me.

not sure where to go from there as theres no real hint of interest, she was just being nice i think?

1: go to the bathroom. return and sprawl out on the girl playfully, like you don't give a fuck. escalate

2: approach her, neg her, eject. she'll find you.
