I'm only new here so I would like to get a little feedback about an interaction i had today with a secretary i spoke with today. I have to go to a work site quite often and whenever i go there i have to sign in and I've been chatting with the chick behind the desk whenever i get the chance just for a bit of fun.

Started reading 'the game' a couple days ago so i decided to try something. I was about to walk out without saying anything but instead i said 'can i ask your opinion on something'
sec: 'sure'
me: 'what do you think about wearing sock with thongs blablabla' i presume exactly what i said isnt really that important
secretary: something about when she thinks of sock and thongs she thinks lazy blabla
spoke for a little longer, then i left

I was a little nervous when i started talking and turned my back on her half way through the convo. I'm pretty sure i just did it because i was nervous but does this help? ie. give her the feeling that i'm ready to leave or something subconscious like that or would it be better to face her straight on?

anyway in the afternoon i came back to sign out and decided i would try a 'neg' and said to her
secretary: 'bla bla bla sorta complemented me'
me: 'i used to think you were a nice person'
secretary: pretended (i think) to be a little offended and pretty sure was shocked, there was a little silence so i went on explaining
me: something linking how she said people who wear socks and thongs are being lazy means she was being mean to me and saying i'm lazy. didnt come out too well.
secretary: looked like she wasnt quite sure how to respond then said 'you can think about me any way you like'
me: walking out laughed because i instantly thought about sex lol and said goodbye

um... not sure if that makes sense but any tips would be welcomed

It means you look like a complete chump bringing up a conversation you had a day ago. Why would she give a shit if you think she is a mean person? That shit isn't even a neg, it is an insult to her character when you don't even know anything about her. How about instead of trying to put into practice the 50 pages of a book that isn't even A FUCKING HOW TO, you read some actual material on gaming women? Then your questions on here won't seem so mundane and trivial, because honestly you are getting absolutely NO WHERE with this woman. Now she just thinks you're an asshole who doesn't have the social intelligence to learn when to shut his mouth and not insult the woman he is interested in.
