I think I may have a slightly different type of AA and would like some ideas on how to start solving it.

I have no problem at all approaching any woman I'm attracted to, but after the initial opener I really have NO IDEA what to say or where or even how to lead the conversation in the direction I want it to go......CLOSE.

Any ideas or material I can study to help jump over this small hurtle?

if you can approch than its not AA,
sounds like you have an issue with "keeping your eyes on the prize" i mean, keeping your head clear and your mind focused on the interaction. when your in the interaction, dont think:

what should i say now?
this girl is hot,
i hope im not being too quite,

think about what your goal was, a # or whatever it was, and have a game plan to get there, will it be funny, sexy, mysterious? you have to have a game plan, not having 1 is sort of selfish.

i think you have to get out there and fall on your face a few times, no ebook can teach you the frame of mind im trying to explain

So I have been running the outcome I want through my head before I approach and am feel I am getting more comfortable with finding something easily to talk about. Great advice. Thanks...I'm just going to keep it up so I eventually get to the point that it is just second nature and I don't even think about..

I think the problem you are having is the transition from the Opener (A1) to Female-to-male attract phase ("Attracting" - A2).

This might help you:

(That's the complete M3 model, click on A2)

Yeah it is called any PICKUP BOOK OUT THERE!!! Why don't you try reading one of them and come back when you aren't so uninformed?

I'd suggest spending a bit of time talking to people (strangers) in general with no goal in mind. Just plow the conversation and keep talking, no matter what. You'll start to get a feel for what makes conversation effective. Once you understand the conversational dynamic you can apply it to a specific goal.
