okay, this is my first post on this site. I'm about 150 pages into Neil Strauss' book, so I know most of the pickup lingo that's thrown around. So I was hoping to get some advice on seducing this girl I've known for some time.

Okay, so we're both sophomores in college, I'm in a fraternity and shes in a sorority, I've known her basically since we first got to college and we're pretty good friends, I can make her laugh pretty easily, but I've never really gone for it with her even though I think she's incredibly attractive.

So now a little about her, she's SLIGHTLY (and I mean fucking slightly) overweight, but she is VERY insecure about this, probably because she has a twin who is really skinny. A lot of times when I see her a party she looks really depressed, and I never know why, but usually I am able to cheer her up. She's also really immature and a lot of the time acts evasively in conversation.

So, I was thinking this weekend I'd go for it with her. It would be pretty easy to do a stealth approach because we've been friends for a while.

So has anyone out there laid game on girls with similar qualities? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks dudes.

EDIT: Also, she is the kind of girl that always just says what's on her mind if that helps.

You are too worried about fucking up your friendship, get out of your own head. You are barely through the book and you want to pull off tactics when the book isn't even a how to guide. How about you go see if you can fuck some other girls first, practice some game, read some ACTUAL material on gaming, and THEN when you gain some confidence, and this bitch is still your friend, have a drink with her and actually try a more tasteful way of hitting on her, which isn't pushing her into the wall so she can scream rape. College parties? I didn't know that was the green light for date rape and forcing yourself on girls who can barely stand. Hit on her when she has had a few drinks, not 10.

You should read Mystery Method and Magic Bullets as these are more of a how to guide. dont bother with Ross Jefferies, I know a bit of NLP and I personally think its a bit cheap, though some self NLP is great, like getting over AA! a great NLP book is Frogs To Princes.

KristallNachte... Thats way too direct, pinning her against the wall sounds like something Jefferies would say. If you did this to her and it failed, then what would she think of you?! slowly start to kino escalate and work it from there when the moment is right. pinning her against the wall WILL just freak her out.

Just start 'playing' her a bit by teasing and seducing the girl a bit (use kino!) but do this in a way that she will start to be interested in you and let her think "wow i'm crazy about that guy but i don't think he likes me that much."
Do this for a while but DON'T act like you're in love with her, play hard-to-get. Then you guys can hang out somewhere on your own, perhaps buy a bottle of wine to loosen things up and she might even be the one who starts seducing you (at least this worked for me) just keep that 'hard-to-get' attitude even after you guys kissed, for just a while, she might lose interest when you lose that attitude immediately (yep happened to me too) until you guys are together for real.
