Hi, been dealing with issues regarding my inner state lately. I just recently flew back to my hometown in NYC and I started practicing daygame/approaches with a coach out here every day. I figure if I can get over my anxiety here in the city, I am set for life. Although my initial approach anxiety has diminished greatly, for the first time ever, I truly feel like alot of these chicks are out of my league and it's making me freeze up during conversation.
I'm a 23-year old black/hispanic guy in the military but I have a very young looking face. Sometimes when I approach these super-hot chicks with the louis vatton bags, killer bodies, designer outfits, etc., in my head, I feel like I'm small-time compared to them. I also approach alot of these art/theater majoring artsy chicks and I'm thinking to myself "I haven't seen a play nor have i gone to a museum/gallery in years!". I'll go through the motions and make conversation only to hit a dead-spot, feed into my fear, and self-eject. Luckily, I've only been flat-out rejected a few times but I've only number-closed once with an hb6.
How do I get past this mindset of not feeling "good enough" or sophisticated enough to make conversation with the 9's and 10's of the city?
The idea of feeling "WORTHY" comes from an ingrained mindset, and pick-up alone is not going to solve this problem for you. A lot of ideas about reprogramming your subconscious might help you. I say what you start doing is waking up every morning, looking in the mirror and begin telling yourself, "I am a valuable person, I deserve a beautiful woman because I am a beautiful person." It might sound corny, but the negative self-talk that is occurring right now on the internet, is probably 100x worse in your own mind. Speak about yourself enough in a negative manner and you will start to believe it. This is why you don't feel worthy, and it probably plays into things that were told to you as a child. Otherwise why would that thought ever cross your mind? Reprogram how you talk to yourself, and never believe that you don't deserve what you want, and what you want is a pretty girl.
