Another hole in my game that I need to fix. I don't know if I overthink it all but I feel like I need to fix this.

The situation:
I met HBtall last saturday at a party, interaction went very well, no k-close though :S but she gave me some serious IOIs.
Anyways, today while at another party, I noticed HBtall. I said hi to her and then I left to grab something to drink.
After that, I just couldn't return and talk to her because I didn't know what to say :/ I couldn't use any good routines because I had already used the most of my arsenal
I ended up using a situational opener which failed...

So:
How should I re-initiate? What's the right thing to do/say? And after saying hi to her, should i left HBtall or should I had re-initiated her immediatly?

You're overthinking this alright. You two already know each other so you don't need an opener or a routine. Keep it simple and just say something like:

Hey, good to see you here. I enjoyed meeting you last week.

or

What's up? How's your week been?

Also, routines are a crutch. You will run out of material eventually. Work on your conversation skills and general social skills.
