who can I see or what should I buy to improve articulation?

I have a tendency to mumble my words and not only when I'm trying to talk to a girl, but with my co-workers and friends. I tend to have to restate what I just said.

Any book suggestions or classes I can take?

See a speech therapist. It may hurt your wallet some, but it be a hell a lot better than buying some book.

I looked into that, but most of the ones I saw on GMaps usually deal with kids

there are certainly plenty of speech therapists, and linguists that can handle adults. and for sure in your area. look harder.

You may also want to look into acting coaches that work on speech.
