I'm not sure whether all this is true! I mean, does this stuff really work? I've never seen a pick up artist in action so I can't really compare, has these techniques helped abyone?

I just start talking to women and see where it leads, I don't use any techniques or tactics, so why do we need them?

Well, some people have natural talent for picking up girls. You may be one of them.

Some of us don't. Some of us have zero PU skill from birth and have no idea what to do or say. I am one of those. I am a total nerd and can't just walk up to a girl and talk to her.

That is why techniques are needed. If you feel you have all the PU-skill you need, then there's no need for you to study PUA technique. But if you want to improve your skill, then you might want to stick around.

There is strong empirical evidence that PUA technique does indeed work. I myself have not done enough work to see any results yet, but the evidence is all around in the Seduction Community.

Without trying to brag; I'm a goodlooking guy and feel quite comfortable around women. Yet I've been blown out many many times in the past, before I learned any PU skills. Good looks can help, but are no guarantee that you'll score with chicks. Women don't think like men. When we see a 10 our peckers get hard. Women don't think that way.....They don't get wet just because they get attention from a handsome guy. I've seen total assholes walk away with 9's and 10's while I'm slowly getting drunk at the club wondering what I did wrong....! Now I know.....Does it work?

I guess I'm a bit like you and Smoke I have always found it easy to talk to women and I'm a decent looking guy so I guess that helps. All I would say as to whether it works or not is ask yourself this, when you walk in to a bar or club with friends, do you go for a safe 7-8 or do you walk out with the girl everyones looking at and dreaming about later.
Because for all I'm good at talking to women I know before I started working my own routine it would take 4-5 pints before I would even approach a good looking girl and even when I did I always approached someone who i knew it would be easy work to pull. Now I can honestly say I dont care if a 10 laughs at me because I know there's a lot more tens out there and some of them will like me. As to whether it works I guess its all down to the individual person but I know at the very least it gave me a lot more confidence when around very attractive women and thats never a bad thing.
