It might not have even been about you. Was she with another colleague?

That's good you remained nice throughout. Sometimes women just don't want to be picked up right that moment. Don't assume bad things about a woman just because she gives a bad reaction. Maybe she had other things on her mind, or was angry at someone else. You just happened to be the guy she vented on. You never know, you might see her again and things will be completely different.

I regularly have this effect on people.
Mostly foreign females to be honest, including relatives.
I think I know why it is in my case but not knowing you I'm not sure if it's the same.
It's better than them being all cold on you.

Im actually drawing the positive out of the experience now in that im delighted i remained calm,didnt lose my temper or say anything nasty

its not cool for a girl to laugh at you, however it is cool for her to laugh with you!

dude this is called a programed responce, its caused by a girl having recived hundreds of shit approaches throughout her life with guys coming up to her and saying the likes of 'hey your hot' and 'do you have a boyfriend'

therefore she will develope these bitchy responces whenever she feels someones trying an aproach (even if its indirect).

Its probably nothing you did wrong and u were just unlucky.

Think about it, If somone like brad pitt aproached a girl and she laughed, he wouldent give a shit, if your going to respond do it in a way that shows you have high value.

don't ask her whats wrong, that shows her you care what she was laughing at...it makes her seem higher value.

say something like, 'um...that was weird' then if she trys then to explain herself, shes explaining to you...therfore you have the higher value.
