Introduction

I'm 16 years old, British, 5'8", 136 lbs and fairly attractive. In social terms, I'm your bog standard beta male. My inner game is either dead or dying. My social confidence and comfort have followed a downward spiral ever since I started secondary school; it's an all-boys grammar school and I have literally made no real attempts to interact or socialise with girls other than through mutual friends. About a year ago I suffered glandular fever, which consequently led to severe stress, anxiety and depression, and I was out of the education system for around eight months, at which time I literally at a loss about my life and where I was heading; I still am, to tell you the truth - I don't know what I want to do with my life (apart from become more confident, the main reason I'm doing this) and I feel that I have 'wasted' my youthful opportunities. I am now at a government-run institution for "anxious school refusers" and am predicted 6 A's, 2 B's and 2 C's, but my perfectionism causes me to constantly look back and regret this dire part of my life; I was predicted 7 A*s and 5 A's at my old school.

Enough about all that, let's talk about women. I will fully admit that I am socially awkward around women; I'm not normally an awkward person but I exude shyness and discomfort whilst around beautiful girls. I am fairly confident in my looks and do get approached by girls occasionally, however. I have never kissed a girl or done anything for that matter (hugged a few but who really cares..?). I lie to everybody who asks about my previous experience with girls because: a) they wouldn't believe me if I told them I had no past experience; b) I feel that it would lower my social value (worst DLV ever, methinks?).

I'm considered as "cute", quite popular, and a friend to all. The perfect beta, right?

'A2'

When it comes to pickup, I am the ultimate keyboard jockey. I've been scouting techniques and styles for around a month now and have not approached a single girl; I do, however, plan on working on all of the stuff that I learn in the summer holidays (I know it's not a valid excuse but there're exams coming up and stuff like that. The summer holiday also symbolises a new life for me).

Questions

I can't really think of any more context right now. The main reason I'm posting is that I have a few questions:

1. Where can I find out about the different styles of PUA? I want to find one that suits my particular style and makes me more confident in my routine. Please note that I do eventually want to find my own 'natural game' but I want to start with a methodical approach.

2. I'm 16 years old and will either be out by myself or with one or two friends. Where are some good places to go for girls?

3. The main things keeping me from approaching at the moment are as follows: sweat and blushing. I sweat profusely whenever I'm presented with a socially awkward situation; I also fluster terribly. It really is bad, my whole face goes a shade of pale crimson. Are there any ways to prevent this other than "get confident"?

4. I know, I know, it sounds ridiculous, but I'm being serious. Any guides/walkthroughs on how to make out with a girl?

5. Are there any books that have truly helped you? I'm not talking about the e-books that are like £60. I'm talking about 'The Game', which I have ordered, and 'Feel The Fear And Do It Anyway', which I am currently reading.

6. What's the best way to improve 'inner game'?

7. Any other tips/advice?

Yours sincerely,

Meozy (a [currently] socially awkward penguin).

P.S. I really would appreciate any advice that you can give me. I'm very open and will consider any comments that you can give me.[/list]

just go through the different styles and try them out. dont think about adapting them to you at first. do EXACTLY what they are and see what clicks then adapt.

fake it til you make it

FORCE yourself to approach. you'll quickly learn its nothing to worry about.

it comes sort of naturally really. don't stress it. the only thing to be wary about is to hold back on the tongue at first and do to her what she does to you

Right thanks for your reply. I think I'm gonna follow an RSD approach; I'm not that sure of what they all are yet but this seems to suit my particular mindset. I've decided to go to local parks and shopping centres when I'm sarging, but I'll aim to approach anywhere I can.

I've ordered 'The Natural Art of Seduction' and I'll try to read it ASAP.

With the sweating and blushing thing, any other advice apart from "fake it 'til you make it"? It might stop me from freezing but it won't stop me looking like an oompa-loompa.

eventually that will go away. its a survival response that makes no sense in modern times.

thats why its fake it til you make it.

you force yourself to act cool and collected and eventually you will be cool and collected and all those uncontrollable body responses will fall in line
