this is my first post here. i feel like the last year of my life has been a journey of self discovery and opportunity. i just want to say thanks for the support and guidance that you guys give.

I'm really struggling to calibrate a little routine im working on. i dont want it to sound to insulting. maybe you guys can help. anyway, here it goes...

you would be SO famous at my little sisters playgroup
you'd be like the dorky mummy...(needs more - help!!!)
all the children would want to squidge you.

then to whatever she says.

it's ok im a dork at heart too.
we shouldnt be talking to each other, our children would be...like...SUPER dorks. you'd have to buy matching barbie lunchboxes for them to take to school, and i'd have to hold their hands in the playground to stop the bigger kids from laughing.

Instead of 'dorky mummy' I'd put more emphasis on describing what a dorky mummy actually looks like.

A little bit of belly pudge, thick rimmed glasses like Harry Potter. Give her a funny visual image to make her laugh (you'd have to be careful here and not insult her. It has to make her laugh!)

But I like the line 'all the children would want to squidge you'.

Also, I think a building up the fame idea would work too. Just add a pause, be like.

'Man, I get such a good vibe from you. You could be so, so famous at like...my little sisters playgroup.'

A pause does wonders.
