The other day i was texted me and we started talking and we got caught up on what had been up since we last talked and she told me she had dyed her hair a bright blonde and sent me a picture. Although i liked her dirty blonde hair better i still find her extremely attractive but i figured i would try and neg her and i said something to her like "wow that actually doesnt look to bad." Then she was like "in other words your sayin i look like sh*t." I replied "Hey those words never came out my mouth." anyways later i sent her a picture of me and she through that back at me she said "well dont you look "not to bad," haha :)."
However long story short im curious to know if that is a neg or a insult?
BTW: she's wanting to hang out soon.

Insult...

Negs are difficult when using them in online game. See, the thing is that the neg is more about the delivery than about what you say. You can pretty much call her an asshole or give her the finger if done in the correct tone and at the right time.

When you use negs online, try to keep it simple. Neg them on personality flaws and the like, but dont overdo it. When she gives you shit just say something like, "Wow, kinda bitchy aren't you? I like that". Because you cannot use body language or facial expressions over a text or email always neg and reel back in.

Hence the, "I like that", at the end. Good try though. Crash and burn, only way you'll learn the timing and calibration.

That's the learning curve buddy. At least you are out there playing the game, not just reading and trying to learn from a book!!!
