Hi Guys, new member here....have been into pick up for a couple of months now and am loving practicing techniques when I get the chance.

I am after some advice. I went to a well known glasses shop a week or so ago, and was served by a HB8, basically i'd already picked and chosen my glasses with another girl, then was just getting measured up by said HB8, so she personally wasn't selling me anything.

Anyway, we got talking, had a giggle and I was running a bit of game on her, teasing her, etc, and she was giving a few IOI's back. I told her that I was going on holiday to Italy the next day and she said she was half Italian, blah, blah, blah, she asked if I was going with my partner! She then started talking about football (Soccer to you guys!) believe it or not and said she wanted to go to a game sometime (I kicked myself when I got out the shop as I blatently should have gone for the N-close then).

Well I have an apppointment to go back to the shop this Friday to collect the glasses, and I asked her if it was with her again and she said yes.

So I want to know how I go about N closing her on this second occassion. Do I broach the football subject again and casually say she should tag along with me and my pals next time we go to a match or should I try a different tact?

The other thing that would make this all the more sweeter/embarressing is that my ex's sister also works in the shop!

Here's how I would do it:

When you go in to pick up the glasses make sure she's the one helping you. Tell her you saw either something about football or Italy that reminded you of her. This will bring that former commonality and thread of conversation back easily. Game her normally until you get more IOI's from her (she may have lost the attraction from the time lapse so you might have to build it back). Use a little push-pull/ bait, hook, reel, release. After getting the IOI's use whatever number close line you want i.e. "we should hang some time", "you seem cool but I'm still not sure about you yet" etc. Then take out your phone, hand it to her and TELL HER to give you her number. DON'T ASK, TELL! After getting it don't just run off. Keep talking for a while to build more attraction and or comfort. That's how I would do it. Hope it helps.

sith has it . once teh ioi's start being sent hand her the phone . remember your both having a good time , of coarse she will wanto continue with it , otherwise SHE CRAZY , be careful about number closing infront of other staff members that mite make her a bit cautious

Well guys, i'm sad to say that I completely bottled it!

My heart was pounding, my hands shaking.....I chatted to her for a bit but felt so uncomfortable that I couldn't bring myself to ask for her number....grrrr!

It's like the first time I met her it was easy because I was just thrown into the situation and rolled with it, but because I knew I was seeing her again, and was planning to get her number I felt severe pressue and just choked.

Oh well, onwards and upwards......

Awwell mate, let it be a good experience to control your fear. Remeber plenty more fish in the sea.
