i have had this crush on this girl for a couple years but this other dude kept talking to her but i think they have given it a break. How should about going out with her. We have been friends for a long time

I will keep this simple I have been successful at this 2 out of 3 times... usually the first thing u need to ask yourself is if she is attracted to you at all or has even ever seen you more than a friend period... if not then mostly, you will not get much results, and u should just go after another girl( yes there are a million out there that are just as cute and are probably better) if yes, then I would proceed to kick up there touching and flirting.. one thing I did was I tried to touch her and talk more flirty with her... way u know it working or isn't if its working things will pick up she will flirt back, she will like it... if not she will be weird out by it or even try to distance from u... in this case it doesn't work just say ur jokin around and move on...

Been there done that my friend. When a girl has a bf that she's off and on with, kinda likes, you, doesn't wanna totally be with you, then she's back to old bf, and so on here's what you should do...

CUT ALL TIES.

Yes, it is that simple. I think someone else mentioned a david d. quote.

"It's not about the girl, it's the process".

So true. If you get stuck on this one girl, and you wanna make here more than a friend here's your best chance...

1. Improve your game, and meet other women
2. play hard to get, be fun, and don't spend to much time with her
3. Rinse, and repeat.

It really is that simple. She's not magically going to wake up one day and feel attraction for you, that's not how it works. If you're friends now, some major changes with you will need to take place, and frankly, there's no short cut or magic bullet that will really do it.

In fact, I think you're selling yourself short if you don't do the above steps.

It is. I got into game just before I moved from Nebraska to Arizona about 4 years ago. I didn't cut all ties with the girls who were really good friends (facebook, myspace), but I didn't see or talk to them every other day like I used to. Now when I go back to visit, I F-close at least one of my old "girl-friends" every time. High school crushes too. Take a break from her for a while, get better at game, then come back and be a whole new man in her eyes. It's the only way it's gonna work.

Guys you have answered allot of my questions as well so thnx, i am going to try and cut all ties with my chush to get rid of my oneitis although it will be a little harder for me as we are in every class together and working on the same projects together.

I've have several other opportunities with friends who hit on me, got me drunk and dragged me or invited me to bed with them etc I know I could have banged, that weren't very attractive and one that other that was and was engaged. I just flat out didn't go through with that but basically what I found was I did the exact steps just not premeditated.

Looking back basically every good female friend I have had I could have fucked. Thing is most werent attractive or worth messing it up, so not sure what that says really. The 1 that was I messed up for a while just because I was still a needy chode, be careful you'll reak of it. You really need to disappear for a couple months start getting other girls come back with a better mindset and game or you might end up like I did.

I would let her go... If you guys have been friends for that long and you haven't had any sexual tension it is unnatural to try and build it now.
