False takeaways are soooo overused.

Its like you dont actually have to do it all the time. The thing is that you shouldnt go out of your way to help this one girl just because you are gonna hit on her. You should just treat her like any random person. And that is in a night game pickup situation when you just opened the set.

Asking for a pen is a completely normal request and you have probably been known to need a pen as well.

Asking if shes gonna write down your number is a bad idea. You adress the question if there is an attraction between the two of you. A false disqualifier is meant to remove that thought so you end up at zero.

Why not just go for the cocky funny answer.

HB: Do you have a pen.
Ezo: Sure, you should start wearing a pen too, it would look good on you.

Now this is hypotethically of course since I havent actually tried it out, I usually just hand her the pen and keep doing what Im doing.

I dont think it would work either. The reasons being:

You "try" to numberclose first thing you do. Ok, not a real try but you bring up the topic.

You show that you want something from her and that is not really good.


Unless you are doing natural game of course but I think that the OP would have stated if he got great IOIs and stuff...
