My question is what the hell do you do if you open a girl, get past A1, then proceed directly to A3 cause you couldn't figure out how to neg her or a good DHV story/routine? Here's an example of how I basically did this:
So there's this HB8 with fucking beautiful, sexually charged, magnetic eyes that's often somewhere around my usual group study spot at the library. I've kind of known her for a while (we say hi to each other, and sometimes have very brief conversations). Good thing I don't know her that well, otherwise I'd be well in her LJBF zone. I don't know why, but I've never bothered trying to game her really. She's older than me by a couple years but...I now realize that a real PUA wouldn't let that bother him.
I noticed her sitting alone at a group table. I needed someone to help me with my assignment anyways, so I used that as my opener (is this a DLV?). She was busy studying her ass off cause she's got a midterm coming up for a class she hasn't been to for several weeks, but she (tried to) help me anyways.
After a couple minutes I told her to not worry about it, and after a brief silence, I started talking to her. As we shot the shit, I remember Mystery saying most guys make the mistake of starting in C1. So I tried to run A2, my brain must have been fried cause I didn't know what to do. I couldn't figure out
any negs or DHV stories, and she's not stuck up in any way so I don't even know if it's good to neg in this case (tell me if you're supposed to neg a hot but completely not stuck up chick). I decided to skip to A3. I started qualifying her. I asked her shit like do you consider yourself stuck up, what kind of cool hobbies you got, etc? She definitely jumped in those hoops, but I saw pretty much no IOIs. Since I skipped A2, I'm not shocked. She then said she'll be right back.
Now I could have sat there and waited for her, but my gut told that that's what an AFC would do. So I let her walk some distance away before getting up and saying hi to some friends at another table. Now I'm moderately alpha (when I talk, these guys listen intently and are interested in what I have to say instead of ignoring me, etc.). Perhaps this would be enough social proof. However, I noticed that there was another hot chick with my friends, arguably hotter than the HB8, (but probably a 7 or 7.5 in my opinion).
Perfect. I opened her. Started negging her. And even got some kino going on. The HB8 definitely saw this kino
. I pretended to not notice her so I didn't get a look at her reaction, but this is a no doubt a big DHV.
Unfortunately, it was late the place was almost closing. The HB8 was leaving by the time I returned to her. I didn't ask her out like I was planning to, since I didn't get IOIs. I also didn't ask for a phone number or her MSN. I'm probably gonna see her again so why not keep my intentions masked? Now that I have social proof, maybe our next conversation will go better.
So yeah...it's probably a horrible idea to qualify a girl before getting IOIs. But that's what a did for the sake of not falling in the LJBF zone and also to kill the potentially awkward silence. Do you guys think I should still bother with this one?
