Hey guys,

So in doing my reading I see many of you talk about how bad taking a girl to dinner is. Its common, everyone does it, and if you pay you look like a wuss bag, and if you make her split it you look cheap. However, I've always been comfortable doing the dinner thing. Guess I'm not very creative...oh well.

So I come to you experts for help! Any advice at all is helpful. Specific or general...where do you usually take the girl? Some caveats: I *can't* dance...like at all lol.

For specific suggestions: I'm in Northern Virginia right now, Arlington/DC is do-able but makes the trip to my apartment very long (~1hr...) and I feel like I'll fuck up the f-close on that car ride back lol.

that depends on many ting, how well do you know the girl, how much of a talker are you, do you know much PUA tech etc...
and last but not least what are you looking for?

1. ask her out for a movie in the cinema:
pros:
- if you dont know her that well, you dont have to talk to much.
- you have something to talk about after the movie.

cons:
-its super classic
-it can easaly end up in the friend sone


2.dinner
pros:
-its romantic
- and the paying for the dinner i think is ok, it shows your a gentleman, and almost all girls dont mind it.

Cons:
- the akward silence if you run out of smart things to say.

say you should hang out at her place, watch a movie etc..
Pros: you dont have to be around so much people and its easyer to be relaxed\natural

cons: she can think your a asshole wanting to get down her pants, but it can be lots of fun.

go out to a bar\clubing

pros:
alcohol often makes the things go smother.

cons: she may think you only want to get her drunk and easy;)

agreed, depends on how the initial shit went

if i met her at a club, ill switch it up to inviting her out during the day or at most a quiet bar.

if i met her during the day, ill invite her to a bar or something quiet at night, but sometimes i spring for the ( im going out to X club on friday night, you should tag along/ we should meet up)

if i did a quick close, (open and attraction, but hardly any rapport or comfort)
then i like to invite her out during the day, anything like coffee or lunch, and then ill mix it up with keeping it short and sweet or bounce to another location like a walk in a park nearby or around the streets

if i did anything over 20 minutes, ill do anything from the above, but i dont think ive ever been to a really formal dinner, its just not me (i am 20 though..)

i love taking girls to hookah bars or to play pool, those are always fun

daytime dates are great, picknicks (maybe not on a first date) frisbee, beach, biking, sporting events, i always have a great time on those, less social pressure, relaxed and its very original.

I met her online and this will be a first meeting / date. We met online WEEKS ago and I've just been traveling for work so we havent had the chance to meet up yet. I honestly don't know her that well. Her place is a dorm room so thats out .

saying that you are going to club x friday night is an simple and good way to invite a girl out, . "im going to bar x on friday, it would be nice if i saw you there" its casual and laid back.

pool is also fun, fun with a gf and fun for sating, but for godsake dont play poorly just to let her win, you may think thats a good idea, but dont!

before i start to play with a girl i dont know i use to ask her if shes anny good.
most likely she will say no and laugh. i laugh with her, telling her that "im not to steady my self, and that i most often end up putting the 8 down and lose(kino?), but dont expect a walk over misses"(or something, it makes a good SPAM, and she can relax).
you can always bet on who is paying for the next round of beers

the good thing about playing pool is that you can be close to her, walking about, giving kino, being a tease!

My rule for a first date is never out to a bar/club or movies ... try somewhere fun like bowling or laser tag ... great kino and neg opportunities!
