Last weekend i was out and opened a 2 set, quickly gave a time constraint and said i need a female perspective: "Hey I can only stay a minute but i need a female perspective."

Unfortunately one girl goes, "oh so you watch that show?! K go ahead lets see" or somethin like that in a pretty pissed tone.

I assumed she was talking about VH1's the pick up artist. I ejected quickly to say the least. Scared the shit out of me so I've changed shit up to avoid this.

So my question is this, have you guys ever been busted due to them knowing the material from a mainstream source (pick up artist, the game, etc)?

or just been called out as a pua?

I've had that happen before, I never use the SUPER stock openers for that reason.

But if a girl busts you on a FTC, or a "Can I get a quick female opinion on something"

You can always just plead the 5th, or ignorance.
I don't think it's that big of a deal.

It's not like Mystery is the only human to ever say "Hey i can only stay for a minute" or "I need a female opinion"

I would think that the tell is, if you let it phase you..

If you keep your cool when you get called out, and say what TV show? or "what are you talking about"

You've passed it..

even if you say the right thing, but you get caugh off guard, and the girl can tell that they startled or somehow fucked with you.. You're out..

So you lost the set.. Oh well. next time you DO know what to do.
