Seriously.

I don't mind the fact that women go with their emotions and the flow. I can work with girls like that (There are numerous instances where I just go to a bar or lounge to chill, and kick back, and girls are suddenly talking to me).

On occasion, I get drunk, the girl I eyed gets drunk, I get to know her crew, we like each other...we have fun. We may kiss, we may not. Her friends usually like me, as I go back and forth.

...but many times, other guys try to pick up on her. I'm usually a defensive jerkoff, and usually go with her, hold her, brush the other guys away, and they leave like pussies.

...but then, some of my own "friends"...steal the girl I'm with. Violation of honor.

I learn of this, and then the next day, I tell the rest of my circle what that guy did, and paint him as a scumbag demon. Do not fuck with my flow, I will destroy you.

Yet, I wonder...Most of the time, without the use of alcohol or my crew, I tend to be socially inept. I'm confident, but I'll admit that I have a bit of a lack of social skills. Most of it was due to me having ADD and a reclusive nature when I was younger (Only comfortable with others like me).

As a result, unless I have a bit of assistance with feeling good from alcohol, or having a bit of help from a friend, I tend to say the wrong thing, even though I have the right mindset. The engine's good, but my transmission gears are a bit rusty.

I like quotes.

But anyway, some insight? I'm open ears.

Funny you mention that. My gut was telling me the same thing hours ago.

"Want something done right? Do it yourself".

Ok, we will see what happens.

You have low self confidence/self esteem?

I can see it coming through your post, like seeking validation from behind your 'defensive' shield. Reckon your so called friends and women see it too and they walk all over you.

Not much you can do in the situation as these guys take advantage of the fact you would look needy in front of girl if you tell them to stop.
You have to stand up for yourself in other ways, outside the pulling situation. Even in simple discussion, stick to your guns etc.

But the best way to show it? Ditch them and get some real friends that will respect you.

I've struggled with low self confidence. I find that everyone around me is better than I am, no matter how hard I fight, or struggle. I look at people better than me, and I wish them ill. They hurt me, and laugh about it. I can't even talk to a girl without having to worry about being stepped on.

Seriously, I see the successful guy, and I want to punch his face in, and laugh at him while he's bleeding on the floor. I don't want to ever do that, but the fact that everyone takes advantage of others sickens me. It really makes my blood boil.

They're dogs man. And I don't have that meanness in me. I don't. I don't know why, but I don't. I just go to have a good time. I get some, I lose some. BUT...the dogs ALWAYS seem to get what they want, and IT FUCKING SICKENS ME.

I saw the VH1 show. I didn't believe it at first, but Mystery took a bunch of jackasses, and made them ironmen. I even thought those guys REALLY WERE actors, but I saw between the lines. I know what's going on. Mystery knows his shit (But dresses like a fucktard), and these guys started soaring with success.

...How? Mystery didn't come across as a dog to me. Him, Matador, and J Dog were pretty decent guys. How man? How the fuck?

I'm not looking to type for a million answers. If someone can give me the no-bullshit route to go, I'll take it, even if I get pissed. I've had it man. I've had it being the victim of bulldogs. It's my turn, and I fucking want it. I want it!

Help me.

Look at it this way man. The people who started out as naturals are generally the dogs. At a young age they found out what works and went with it whole heartedly. People who start out as AFC's generally aren't dogs, because they know what they are doing and they know that hurting girls is never what they wanted to do.

In short, no. You don't have to be a dog to get girls, BUT! You must take all the positive parts from the dog (confidence, masculinity, fearlessness, good social skills, wit, etc.) and incorporate them into yourself. Then you can distinguish yourself from the dog by NOT displaying his negative points (lying to get sex, faking a relationship to get sex, being over aggressive, wanting to fight anyone that stands in your way, etc.).

In short you're becoming the happy medium. Think of a bell curve with AFC on the far left, asshole on the far right, and PUA right smack dab in the middle.

As far as your "friends" stealing the girl, you have a few options:

A.) Don't go out looking for girls with these friends.
B.) If they really are your friends, lay down the rules of engagement.
C.) Out-game them.

My own rules of engagement with my wing are:

If my target is a stranger, and within the bounds of the first night I meet them is more interested in my friend than me, he can have her. Clearly he's done something better or she is simply more attracted to him from the get go. That being said, he NEVER tries to sabotage anyone I'm gaming.

If my target is someone I've been gaming for several days or went out on a date with, he knows to stay back. I have room to work at this point.

Ex-dates are on a request basis only, and ex-gf's are off limits.

I think you'd benefit from a solid 2 or 3 male wings who know what you're out to do, and who have each others' interests at heart, rather than a need for pussy.

I see. I'll give you a frame where I come from:

I don't kiss ass, nor do I open up easily. I go, I'm normally wary, since I make sure not to say anything that fries me. I drink some beers, and I loosen up a bit, but I don't drink too many to which I'm babbling and acting like a fool. I balance my drinking.

I put up a million walls, and that kills me. My social skills are weak, as I've been living with ADD and a sheltered life since I was little. I know literally nothing about how the social game works, save for introducing myself and overcoming my fear of approaching people through working in retail. (Sales saved my life. Seriously).

Fortunately, thanks to advice from people wiser and more successful than I, I know what women are attracted to, and that's attitude. Positive attitude. I try to maintain a positive attitude wherever I go, and sometimes, I get a few hookups. (Proven there's alcohol at the ready). But, pair me with two to three other guys who've had more social experience than I have, and I'm a dead fish in the water. Competition-wise, I'm a caveman fighting the Terminator. I simply do not (yet) have the skills to ensure I'm safe to go.

Ok, I'll be honest..It's one "friend" who does this (I'm paranoid about my other friends, cause I've SEEN them do that shit in the past, but never to me. Not sure why). This one "friend" (No longer is) was the person I knew since I was a child. He is a manipulative, angry prick, who has no morals. The first, and only time he stole my girl was this past sunday, where I went to a bar with him and his friends from work. I bonded with them, and made the girls feel good. The hottest girl of them all (IMO) was eyeing me. We had a few drinks, and we talked for 30 minutes. Then, we were making out and stuff. I go to the bathroom to pee, and I come back...my "friend" and the girl I was with were gone, and my friends "girlfriend" (who was also there), was crying hysterically.

I had to play wet shoulder boy for 30 min, then she was good to go. I had to walk over 20 blocks, in zero degree weather, to take the bus back home (I was in NYC, and I had no money, since my friend said he was gonna take me home with his "girlfriend").

So, I text him, calling him dog, shit, vermin, and whatever else you can imagine. He says "It is what it is. I don't care". I also learned he talked to his "girlfriend", and now they're "back together".

...see where I'm coming from? And this isn't the first time this "friend" screwed me over.

...I am convinced EVERYONE is like this. That is why I don't want any guy friends. To me, all other guys are dogs who deserve death.

I have trauma. I'm currently seeing a psychologist, and she prescribed medicine to me (Which has eradicated my ADD symptoms, and set me right).

...I'm sorry if I sound like a jerk. I'm warped, and I need to filter out these negative emotions.

This may sound like a stupid question, but...are there really nice people out there who don't screw others over?

Just think of it this way - a dog gets to sniff everyone's crotch with impunity. Being a dog isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Sounds like your game is weak. If you're excellent enough, then your guy friends won't be able to hold a candle to you. This isn't about controlling your friends and telling them to keep their hands off your women, it's about YOU not being capable of keeping the ladies' attention on you long enough to bed them.

It could just all be about some more practice that is needed. Often in social situations especially when taking on some new characteristics or sayings (The Game) you need time to get it working smoothly.

Often something you might say wont hit as well as you first thought it would but you will recieve feedback from that and be able to adjust for the next interaction. Experience breeds effectiveness.

Look man, you're a decent guy, you're not a total wuss, but you do have so self esteem issues,

what really helped me is to get away for a long time, I was in the army (Israeli) for 3 years, and it totally took me away from my social circle, and then i found out that I'm a cool guy, then I also went to 2 different countries (DK, UK) and again, I met a new social circle that treated me completely different

you're a great guy, you just don't believe in it yourself, it's not about you're friends, it;s YOU, you draw ppl to you who can degrade you and you're stuck in you're little world where you are below others.

in short again... GO ALONE TO MEET NEW PEOPLE, and you will re find yourself as a great person

Yep. Saw this firsthand when I went to work.

It was my ADD. When I had it, I could not pick up on social cues. It was as if someone slapped the back of my head, and popped out some lenses that made me see the reality of my situation.

While I was a nice, charming guy, I was also socially inept. Not a good mix. I had attracted vermin, and pushed away winners, solely because of something not in my control.

When hanging out with people I respected and who respected me (My coworkers), I felt awesome. Thanks to the medication I was prescribed, I was able to see what was going on around me, and be able to sense others.

...Hmm...

Still, this PUA stuff looks interesting. Oh well, that's for another post.

I guess, from what I've experiences, dogs feed on the defenseless. If you know what you're doing, and you're at a point where YOU could be the dog, then I'm looking at the dogs who screwed me over, and they're the weak whimpering chihuahuas with a missing leg.

Wow. All my struggle because of a stupid medical condition. Fuck...

Hey man enough with the ADD yeah it sucks but u get over it ok bro?
I have similar issues , i got ADD and Aspergers syndrome (go look it up)
This stuff CAN be fought against and you CAN beat it out

read the books , being somewhat of a recluse i'm sure you had an interest in something, now you got a new interest so start reading, this shit works

Your to nice ... same problem i had as well, its like you dont know if to destroy it to make way for a new person or to keep it because it defines you ... i still have this problem

Theory:
Theirs this idea that in order to change a major character trait about yourself you have to go to an extreme ... this means go out alone and start conversations with the goal of being mean to people, you learn from it and it might be the only way to go, eventually you will balance out ... i may try this although there are other ways

Btw Lights are u Israeli? me 2 buddy ;-)

I did get over it.
I merely reflected that all my problems could have been solved had I intervened a long while back.

But the past is done. The books are closed. BUT, the present is here, and I can write my future. Showtime.

Also, damn. Good stuff fighting it.

What do I read? Personally, I'm still a bit iffy on this PUA stuff. I'm open to looking at some new vantagepoints, but after watching the VH1 show...idk man. No Mystery Wizard Shit.

Suggestions on reading material?

I can tone down my niceness (I'll have to), but I'm not changing who I am. I am me, and me is me, and you are you, and that's it. I'll open my mind to things "I" may think have some value for me, but I'm no one second convert. If it makes sense to Rune, Rune will utilize that new belief or piece of info. Otherwise, to the garbage it goes. If I can't be me using what works, then what am I living for?

That's no theory. That's fact.

You want something different. Do something different.

I think, now that I'm balancing out, I now have a better grasp on who "I" am. I'm feeling more confident, assertive, and ready to kill.

...but yeah, I am now somewhat interested in this PUA thing. I like the undertones of the mission.

Can someone guide me to some introductory material?
