#1
On one set break I see a pretty hot girl dancing by herself. I'm a bit drunk at this point, don't really give a shit, and go directly up to her and grab her to dance with me. Next thing I know I've got her against the wall kissing her until we go back on. I didn't do anything after that but I was cool with what had happened.

I go to the bar with my sister one night when the band isn't playing. We're at a table just chatting for a while. People are on the dance floor having a good time. I tried doing kind of the same kind of thing I'd done before with a few people, and one girl hung around for a little bit, but I didn't seem to get any attraction going on with anybody. Had a few rejections - "I don't know you." "I'm gonna go check on your purse" (to her friend).
So some good and some not so good. The band is playing there this Saturday and I'd like to at least try something. I'm quite a newbie here, and my mixed experiences are leaving me a little nervous but since I've had a small taste of it I want more. Any specific advice for musicians? I mean, I know it's supposed to be easier for us, but the disadvantage here is that we have to pack our equipment up long after the bar is closed, so going home with somebody is never an option.

memorize a bunch of openers, negs, gambits, routines, and stories, read up on the mystery method. and try to learn when and when not to drop them. negs are golden pebbles.
You've got a solid DHV because you are playing a show.. No one gets more ass than rock stars. I'm right with you. (deathcab for cutie/Kingfish tour 2005... oh yeah.. I know...)
Even though i don't normally use mainstream canned material.. I still use lines that I know work,
This isn't your final product, and you shouldn't use these lines as a crutch.. But i think you'll find a significant increase in your game. and as you go out, and as you go out in the future, you can replace those canned lines, for spontaneous lines of your own, and build confidence and inner game where you don't need any material.. you just exude.. PUA..
