I went out for a sarging session this weekend with a wing who I hadn't been out with in a while. The specifics of what all happened are more or less irrelevent, but I was taught an important lesson:

Guys, you've gotta get to a point where this kind of competency is coming from within.
If your focus as of late has been on, "wing this and wing that" or "Make sure we're part of this or that lair" and relying on help from other dudes to get you to where you need to be, be it wings or local groups, you're gonna be in for a let-down.

Other dudes are going to let you down if you start going down this path. They'll get engaged (yes even in your early 20's), get into LTR's, or just plain-out move-away.

This content we've been passing back and forth to each other has in a lot of ways taken on semi-incestuous traits.

ex: Dude, openers are dead. At least in the way that we all became familiar with them.

AFC Adam put it best: "You're gonna go up to a beautiful woman and say 'Excuse me, I was wondering if I could get your opinion on something...' What, do you think she's a fucking idiot? She's a beautiful woman, she knows why you're coming up to her asking her this."

Recently I've seen not only specific content, but just structural elements from things we knew as "openers" being put to best use in MID-GAME if you can believe it.

After 5 minutes of conversation, you can go for an opinion, then that opens the door perfectly for you to come back with, "oooohhhh, so you're THAT kinda girl, huh?"

Just some observations from the weekend.
