This is me and my girlfriends 2nd valentines day. Even though I undertstand the valentines day is about the girl I felt as though I was jipped last year.

She got me a bracelet from Arepostle and cologne from Arepostle.

I set her up a nice table with flowers in red food coloring and had a choclate rose made for her and wrote her a card that I poured my heart and soul into and a beautiful ring from kay. There were ballons all in my room and everything. I did a lot more too but I can't really remember it all. I really went all out for her though and I felt I got very little in return. She never knew that I was disappointed though, since that would be flat out mean if i told her.



This year I got her a stuffed animal, I put a pair of earrings and a necklace on it and threw it in a bag. I spent more money this year but I didn't put as much thought into it I guess.

I found out she ordered us a room at a hotel, taking me out to eat somewhere very nice and got herself a nice sexy dress and even got me a few things for myself (I don't know what they are yet) She's spending way over $200 on me and I feel like there's no way I can match her.

I feel kind of bad that I can't give her as much as she's giving me, but at the same time I love how she's going all out for me.


Am I the only one that has their girlfriend outdoing them on v-day?

She's probably doing this to balance out what you did last year. I say enjoy the ride. You deserve it.

Women are emotional creatures. You could hand write a 5 page letter to her telling her everything you think about your relationship, and she will like it more than spending $50 dollars.

If you make pretty much anything homemade, with your own hands, she will like and appreciate it just as much as something expensive.
