is it worth gaming on smokers?

Its occured to me that smokers may be a good target, shops alot of the time staff tend to be women. When you walk past a shop you will often see a woman outside having a smoke. Im wondering if anyone will give me some advice on how to work this sort of situation.

I suggest opening with "Did you know what the toxins in cigarettes do to you"

Well if you are a smoker just wandering up and lighting a cigarette while standing there will give you smokers rights to enter the conversation.

You could always ask for a light. Or just open normally...

Now i have thought this and to be honest it is rather easy to get into a conversation with a fellow smoker, it is just swaying the conversation torwards "can i have your number" thats the sticking point.

Yeah as far as the smoking ban goes it's made smokers more social! :lol:

You need to make a connection, and provide stimulating conversation. Look for questions outside of the usual chit chat and it will help you frame the encounter more towards "his guy I met" rather than "this guy I was smoking with"
