Hey guys I am dating a HB who I also work with. It actually works out really well for us. We have been dating for about a month now.
She is interested in moving to the sales department at our company. So the other day she shadowed this guy on a few sales visits. She says it went pretty well and he thought she would do well in sales because she was so pretty. Well no shit I have good taste Anyway next day he calls her and he's redoing her resume and giving her leads to sales positions for other companies. During the same phone conversation he says that he is not going to sleep with her per his wife - he said this completely out of the blue. She was pretty upset this dickhead even said that. Rightfully so, she wants to be taken seriously.
Today he calls her and says he booked a hotel room for himself and another one for her to travel to a sales conference with him. The VP doesn't want her to go so she is just "showing up" to get experience. And his excuse for booking her a room was so she could get a cheaper rate.
I obviously want her to succeed but I told her I don't like what this guy is doing. Thank god the community has educated me so well.
I feel like this old dude is trying to move in on her. Do you guys think I should tell her I don't want her to go? Or just bitch slap myself and chill the f@ck out?

Women go through this sexual harassment bullshit all the time. He is only helping her because he finds her attractive, she has to deal with it some way sooner or later because he will definitely escalate the situation in a way that would piss you off and might cause her harm in losing the job. Maybe get her to record him one day, so that she can turn cold on his ass and hold something against him if he threatens to fire her or something. She can sue the whole company this way for sexual harassment and wrongful dismissal.
