been having a 'fling' with this extremely shy girl since last october.
our families know each other and go out to dinner quite often yet are unaware of mine and her relationship. when we are infront of family we ignore each other but talk often on phone and sms. i guess i initiate conversation mostly and have met up with her a few times.

lately shes been less nice to me, almost a bit rude. and im afraid shell loose interest and last week i asked her if shes free monday morning but she made some crap excuse up but still, over the phone i received IOIs. additionally, next weekend is an event that mutual friends of ours will be going to which doesnt allow single male entry but ladies are alowed to come with friends (shes coming with friends). i texted her asking her if she thought about going and she replies 'yeah i have, how come?'

this seemed like she didnt want to come ith me so i just replied 'ok'.
now i have a feeling ive been acting a bit needy and i realise a freeze out is in order.
ive got friends that i could enter this event with as a couple so theres no problem there. or i could meet someone before and take them.
what would be the best thing to do, to regain her interest (if thats the case) and how should i behave during the event if she doesnt contact me during the freeze out?

just want to add, ( i guess im her first relationship and she hardly goes out at all-especially to clubs but always to these events and doesnt really talk to guys as hes talked to me like over the phone and that)

Stop being needy. Make yourself the most important person in your life. Ask out 10 more girls. If you still want more from her, be honest with her. Have good communication and accept what she has to say.
