Hi all, i'll post this here butif it's wrong i'll move it. Anyway...


So i've been reading the VA's on and off over the last few year, and i've picked up a few things, tested a number of ideas, and met a few women. I'll say now that i've not been a avid follower, but it has helped and now i need some outside help. It's might be a bit long but please read.

A new girl started t work about 3 months ago, worrking in a COMPLETLY different department to me, in fact it's even a different building. So i may have seen her all of 2/3 times, just out of bad luck blah blah blah.

So i went out with a few friends over the weekend on a saturday night, and we went to a 'coyote ugly' style bar and who do i see, that's right, she works there part time. After about 30 mins - 1 hour i end up back at the bar, and i have to find out if it her. I ask her if her 9-5 is whatever and she says yes, small talk to 2 mintues, ask her out for drink 'with people from work' (bad move i know) she's says yeah, bit more small talk and i go again.

Tuesday lunch time i sent her a email (again i should know better) saying something like 'which is worse, dealing with people in you 9-5, guys hitting on you at the weekends, or bumping into people from your 9-5 at the weekends' and just dropping in that she should come out 4 a drink.

late tuesday afternoon, i get an email back, saying she's had more embarrassing people bump into her at the weekends blah blah and she's free most week days for a drink. However she did say something like 'i really want to get to know more co-workers'. My thought - bugger!

So i've left it a few days and emailed back saying whatever day next week, some time and for her to choose the place.

Now the hard part, i can't get past the image iv'e got in my mine of her in her weekend gear (or lack off lol), so what should i do to shack that image? how should hard should i play the whole 'you are table dancer' angle? and the biggest bugger of all have i already shot myself in the foot, by emailing and making it look like im trying to get to know her but only after i've seen her half naked and hence the 'co workers' coment she made to put me down nicely.

i think that you are in an alright position
just go ahead and make a plan for coffee or something. ask her to grab lunch. something where she isn't obligated to spend too much time. tell her it is so she can get to know some of her co-workers better.
that'd be my suggestion anyway. though i am by no means a professional
