First class I walk into I see a HB8, now I'm use to getting girls in a club environment, but I know the class room can be a bit different. I know I'm not suppose to sit close to her at first can I get a little help on how to approach the situation properly?

It's good to see that you realise that classroom and club gaming are different. Personally I wouldn't sarge her in school I would build up comfort with her and ask her to a club/party after a week or two.
But since we're on the opening, you could use the knots & crosses opener below.

Get a peice of paper, draw a knots and crosses board with an 'x or o' in the box with the message "this lesson sucks..best 2 out of 3?... you're going down!" Then play away, if she wins.. say "man you're such a smart ass.." and if she loses "haha, to be honest I was expecting better.." you take it from there.

good advice

i personally though would sit next to her and introduce yourself and be nice. jsut be nice and natural the first day, then maybe the second day dont be directly next to, but siince you talked the first day (and possible number closer her i suggest you do that fast, then get to knowing her more) you can just casually talk again and invite her to hang out or do something as simple as asking about stuff in class if you dont feel like asking her to hang out outside of class will work
just be nice, build comfort, then hang out somewere else and be on a deeper level with her rather then a friendly level
