For the past few months ive been seeing this girl (7) from class. I think I screwed up again so this time I want to know how to prevent this from happening again.

When I first met her I convinced her to drive me home after the class we had together near exam time I tell her we need to "study" basically to get her alone to pull game on her. She says yes and comes over to my place we studied a bit then went for a walk while she smoked. Initiated kino with teasing and play fighting. I brought her to my romantic spot and tried to kiss her but she shied away. Tried again and she dogged it again. Decided it was too soon so we went back to my place and watched TV. at the end she says I dint mean to lead you on. To which I say "sok we can still be friends" (didn't want to give up my ride back from school).

We hung out again before Christmas she ended up inviting me to her apartment's Christmas party. We drank a bit and she nearly fell asleep on me. She was having a birthday/newyears party to witch she invited me but I skipped it.

She then started texting a lot and when we hung out down town. I told her that I would tell her some of my secrets if she told me hers over cigars (she told me she wanted to know my "big secret" I told her she needed to tell me her relationship stories too (hoop theory)).

After we went for a cigar walk (last Thursday). After that we went back to my place and made out.

She then asked me to hang out at her place and when I went we spent all night in her bedroom we made out I got to second base but no sex. She kinda insisted I stay the night so I did.

Today she texted me and I went over to hang out but she wouldn't let a make out happen. So we browsed her computer. when I said its time to leave she said what do you want from this. I said I dint really know I wanted to see were it goes, I then asked what she wanted. She said she dint know but wasn't feeling it. I think I didn't build enough attraction or something. She also told me that it seemed like I really liked her (not true but apparently I telegraphed too much interest). I told her that was fine but we couldn't be friends she asked me why and I said I would be too busy doing other stuff (chasing other girls, school, work ect). she said oh well I guess we are class mates. I kissed her on the forehead. At the door she said it was awkward I told her i dint feel awkward and I said bye and left.

Thoughts? this was about the closest i have come in a while if its salvageable that would be nice if no i have an ex i plan to hook up with. I get the feeling that she's really wishy washy over this whole thing.
