OK so I am an EMT and met this cute blonde at a hospital she worked behind the coffee shop counter there. conversation goes like this.

Me: Hi so why dont you show me whats good as I dont drink much coffee/cappuccino.

Her: Well i drink my coffee black but there is alot of good things!

Me: hmmm (pause looking at menu)

Her: Well how about I just surprise you with something good

Me: Ok sounds good you look like you know what your doing

Her: Whips me up a white mocha or something

Her: If you dont like it You can come back and ill make you something else

So i go back to my work for a few minutes then come back to find out what exactly it was that she made me the "white mocha" I walk over to the counter with a disappointed look on my face.

Her: you didnt like it?

me: no it was horrible with a comical grin on my face

me: HaHa Just kidding it was probably the best thing ive ever had thank you

Her: good Ive been working here for about 3 months

me: thats cool ,yea Ive seen you around transporting patients and all just never had to want to buy anything from here yet.



So i notice she starts to open up a applesauce container and starts slurrping it out with a straw.

Me: thats funny

Her: dont make fun haha

Me: im not its totally awesome coolest thing ive seen in awhile

Me: so whats your name

Her: Erika

Me: nice to meet you im Jon (shake hands)

Me: ill come back sometime and you can make me something new.


So any help on what to do next? next time a take a pt in or should i show up in a few days and act as if i had another reason to go to the hospital. Should i bring her a little apple sauce container with a straw or something for a warm up if she dont remember me? just need ideas on things to do and how i might get to know her better.

It sounds like a good start, just don't reveil your hand. When you said that the coffee sucked you don't need to say "just kidding" because it's sub communicated. Also she seemed cool, she gave you a lot to work with conversation-wise. Listen to what she says and thread off that. Don't give her a ton of gifts and don't be clingy. Just go in there without an excuse, you don't need one, and game her. Start flirting and try to get her to qualify herself to you

finally thank you foxtrot I have been pretty stupid in the past with giving girls gifts asap etc. anyone have any more advice is this next time i go in there considered a day 2?

I'm not sure that's a good idea. Have you been talking to her, is she responsive and all. If she is just straight up ask. You gotta give yourself more confidence man. Just say something like "I was planning on going to ___ on Friday, you wanna come along?"

i have only talked to her that one time I was thinking about going in with an apple sauce and a straw and making her laugh with it then asking her if she will play a game with me on her break? you think its to early to cube her ? should i try and build more attraction first?
