| Hey everyone, SamoC here. Just got into gaming a month or so ago, so im still pretty new.
Was wondering how'd ya suggest gaming old friends. Im only 19, and im in Canada so I can go out and everything. A couple times a year, especially around Christmas, I run into people that I used to go to school with, and some are the chicks are pretty hot right. But I just dont know how to run game on them.
Going out to bars and clubs, I can run game on strangers easy enough. Thats not to say I'm at all good at it, but I run openers, occasionaly reach the hook point ans such. And the great thing about strangers is that if ya mess up, ya can eject and never see them again, so nobody cares. But thats not my point.
By the way, I'm not a natural, not really. When I get into conversations with people I dont know, my mind often goes blank, so at the moment i rely on memorized routines, until my confidence goes up enough. And right now im running kind of a combination game taught by the mystery method and magic bullets.
Anyway, when I run into these people, people i used to know, at the bar or at a party or something, I get stuck in the "catching up" loop with them right. Like how they been, what they been up to, all stuff I really dont care about.
So what do I do, do i try to run regular game, run some DHV stories, disqualify a bit and such or what would you suggest. Just to point out, I dont have oneitus for any of these girls, but who doesnt want to come back 6 years later and get with the girl next door you knew when you were 13 eh.
