So here is the story.

There is this girl who I met with about 4 months ago, and only recently did i feel attracted to her again. So 2 days ago, I met up with her and a mutual friend for dinner.

I threw out some negs throughout the evening, and by the end of it, I felt the energy between us was still weak. Either way, I brought up the idea of going shopping, because I needed certain clothing (shoes, dress shirts etc.) and casually mentioned that I only go clothing shopping with girls because they have an intuition for picking out clothing. So everyone went home at the end of the evening.

I didn't initially invite her, so the next day over text message I said

"I am going shopping on the 30th, it would be great to get your expert opinion on clothing, you should come along"

She replied:
"lol, omg getting me to go shopping is a bad idea...haha, actually I might be in the states"

So I pushed a little further. First I said
"Nice, where are you going in the states"?

No reply in about 1 day, the next day, I txted again and said:

"When are you free, I'll see if I'm free that day"

I know she is still in the country as she's on Facebook often. It's been two days since then, and still no reply. Where do you think I messed up and is there anything I can do at this point?

Btw, I'm a Chinese born Canadian, and so is she.

well i think i got the story correctly but i might be lost.

it seems like your mentioned clothes shopping and never fully invited them. if that was the case i would say it would be best to have invited them along not just mention it, it was a good try and sort of throwing a subject out there but that can be hard to get the response your looking for. could have said something like "well i have to go shopping, i would love you guys to come but..yea idk your style worrys me a little bit" and have a big grin on your face while you say it. its a short example off the top of my head but after that you could easily just say "oh you no i joke around you girls should really help me shop im like a kid to go shopping with i hate it" or anything like that. cause then they would have and you could have built up some comfort

as for now i say you should just let it be for a while, but if you have her number calling her in a day or 2 would be good, you can express yourself more then just through typing of texting a person and invite her in the ways i explained if you want

If I do call her then, what should I start with? Just I bust her on not replying? Such as "You know, its not polite to leave your friend hanging" or what is the general idea of the phone call a day later so I know how to phrase it in a way that does not make me feel too needy. Because as of now, I've gotten 2 ignored texts in two days.

yes that would work, as long as you laugh about it so she knows you are not being high maintenance about it (girls dont like guys who try and get attention much, be aware) and dont worry to much about the text that happeneds to me sometimes, when it does its normally me inviting a girl out, talking to her later then i just mention that i went out with a different girl instead, that helps too maybe try that
