hey yall

why is having lots of friends a DHV

im feeling so bummed cuz i just came to the realisation that nobody really likes me.

i used to have a friend who i thought i was best friends with, but behind my back he talks bs about me. and now he blocks me out of his friends, who were also partially my friends.

it sucks especially because i introduced them to PU

the reason for this is probably because i moved out of town, and was really busy spending time with my girlfriend there.

so why is having friends a dhv, i remember something what mystery said about social alignment. could somebody please explain it a little better to me, because i dont really get it

Simple awnser:

When you have lots of friends you demostrate value because you communicate you are a fun person to be around. And friends is one of the most important things in life, your successes and failures are nothing if you can't share them with people you care about.

Having friends creates social proof. Which is good for you image and meeting new people ( HB! ). When you have a close social circle and are popular amongst your buddies, they will talk about you to their other friends ( social proof).

I suggest you meet new people and befriend them, don't bother too much about your old buddies talking sh*t. Good luck
