I feel as if looking young for your age is one case that is often overlooked by the community as a hindrance to one's game.

I have learned that women feel the most attraction for men that are "masculine" and manly, both in personality AND appearance.

So what if you have a confident personality, but your appearance is very "unmanly" and boyish? I am talking..very weak looking, no abiltiy to grow any facial hair, babyface. This was my case during my college years.

When I was 21, I looked like I was between 15 and 16. Trust me, I looked extremely young. Consequently, I did not get ANY attention at all or attraction from women, period, between the ages of 18 and 21. I would get put into the "non sexual" catagory immediately due to my looks (proof coming up)

I remember looking at some photos of myself and thinking "holy cow I look really really really young, I literally look like a kid". I decided to change what I could so I gained about 40 pounds (of muscle) (135-175), and started dressing more mature. When I started doing this, I started getting significantly more comments and interest while my "game" stayed the same. Keep in mind, the only that changed in myself was my looks-I was always social and meeting new people during this whole physical change, I never worked on my game. Sure, I probably gained a little bit of social confidence from my better appearance, but it was minimal since I was already comfortable with myself.

I think that this is solid proof that looking young and unmasculine (for a guy) has a significant negative affect on ones ability to attract women. I'm sure you could argue that this would not matter, but only if you were in the extremes (celebrity status, very high status, mpua, etc).

My main point of this whole thread is that this is one factor that I think is not adressed as much and that it is a good example of how looks have a significant effect on your attractiveness, despite what the community says. In fact, I do not think I have ever seen this topic addressed anywhere.

[sidenote] I didn't hit puberty till after high school, don't sweat it man. And when I did the girls from my high school pursued me for the first year (an anomaly really... I had the opposite experience of you -- looked like a 15-18 year old teenager till i was 23ish)... now that I look masculine (enough heh) I'm working on my game, I'm not going to wait around.
