Hey guys! So recently i chatted up this girl and i gave her a false time constraint along with a few topics. Teased her a bit and got her curious but multi threading and constantly changing to another topic without finishing this one. She even said I'm curious i want to know. And then i shifted ot a personality test ( cube) and after that said i had to go and meet some friends.

"it's been interesting talking to you but i got to go meet a few friends right now. Is there any way we can continue this conversation another time?"

she just replied "maybe"

Why did you ask "is there a way we can continue this another time?"

You're asking her to lead here, when you should be leading her and telling her what to do.

"OK, let's hang out later. Tell me your # and I'll give you a call later."

You pull out your phone and assume the close.

She said "Maybe", so why didn't you just say,"then whats your number". What did you do, just walk away?

I didn't ask for her number cause she hangs out around her quite often and i can probably meet her again. And i wasn't really expecting her to say maybe. Usually it's just ok i'll give you my number.

I'll just ask for her number next time instead of waiting for her to give me hers. Lesson learnt

From my experiences maybe means yes. She wants you to lead and take charge of the situation. You should have kept the alpha role going and took her number and set up a time bridge.
