I am 19 and am going to be back from college for the holidays. Being as I am not 21, the choices in nightlife will be somewhat limited. So, on off nights I plan on going to hookah bars. Anyone have any advice for these places (I rarely go)? I know there will be a lot of seated sets.

Specifically, there is one I have gone to a couple times where I know a few of the regulars (a few guys--none of the girls). This one has a live DJ every night or at least loud music (no dance floor). There are couch-benches against the walls with tables and some tables in the middle. There are also two pool tables. Almost all sets are mixed.

I was planning on opening nearby sets simply by blowing smoke in their direction (sound good?). Any ideas for farther sets once I am already seated?

I went to one a few years back before I was in the game and it was a friendly SPAM because of the bond of everyone smoking and hanging out. Perfect place to just chill. You don't need super awesome game. Just the ability to strike up a conversation.

Opening by blowing smoke in their faces might be considered a bit rude, Im not too sure on how your planning to do it though, maybe in a jokey way?

I opened a girl on her own whilst walking past a hookah by just simply asking how much one was, she didnt know (you pay after) so i teased a bit and then sat down with her once she said she was alone. Also you could open sets by asking what flavour tobacco they have because you thought it smelt really good.

Finally once your in the set theres a few things you can do, learn to blow smoke rings, always good fun, go watch how to do it on youtube or something, and practice.

Also if someone passes you the pipe holding the tube part and dangling the wooden end infront of you (like its a hanging dick) its actually considered rude in a jokey way because you're meant to be saying "here grab my dick", what your meant to do is fold the wooden bit back on to the tube and pass them it with the folded bit facing them. Just a joke i picked up from my arab cousins, works well for teasing girls or being a bit c&f in general. have fun!

Good stuff with the limp-dick pipe pass.

One problem I still see is that the place is LOUD like a club, but with all seated sets (harder to break into in a loud environment than standing or dancing ones IMO). Any tips on breaking into seated sets in a loud environment?

Here is what I am thinking now:
1. Open situationally with something about how good the hookah smells and wanting to try it (so I can sit down).
2. Go into real opener/some material (like group cold reads) before actually taking my taste-test pull.
3. After it hooks, stay for a couple more minutes making sure I am solidly in.
4. Eject with the plan of reopening later (or getting reopened by them).
5. Post-reopen: semi-isolate by suggesting a game of pool.
6. If it is logistically reasonable, further isolate outside.

I figure to open at least one table before even buying a hookah. Then open others on my way to the bathroom (good time constraint right there).

What do you guys think? Suggestions are all appreciated.
