hey guys,

i know this hb and i invited her to my birthday, and she happily accepted to come (i have been gaming her over the last weeks). However, today she informed me that she cant come and that she is really sorry because she has to write a school test the next day (i am celebrating under teh weekend).

what should i respond to the fb message declining:

1) should i neg her ("thanks good, you couldnt have let your finger from me anyway ")
2) just say: fine, see you soon
3) ignore the msg and not respond
4) any other tips?

Ignore her. And NEVER EVER say (1) under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

Facebook invites, in general, are really easy to flake on. Text messages are slightly better, but if you really want people to come to an event, CALL THEM. When you actually call someone they're hearing your voice and you have the option of having an actual conversation where you are funny, and you remind them why they like you, and you can fit in some stories about stuff you guys did. By that point, they'll be far more likely to actually WANT to see you again, then if they just get another invite message on FB which they'll probably just ignore like all the other ones.
