my main dilema is that i can not express my self as well as i imagine it.... in other words i do not know how to make a connection/ rapport.... i was at a bar the other night and we had a cute waitress, it was me and 2 buddies.... out of all her other tables she would only sit with us , we were interesting, but one of my other buddies got her full attention with ease, he ended giving her his number, she previously told us how she gets it on all the time so he didnt want to put pressure. but his conversation casual and it worked, but no when i try it...i just tlaked to this girl on msn and all i got were one word answers.... i can never think quickly enough to know what to say in the moment.... this is really holding my game back.... i know im too self concious but i dont know how to cure myself

Sounds like you don't have basic social skills.

Are you using fun qualifiers like "so tell me, what did you want to be when you were a little kid."

You need to get her investing and the way to do that is to break rapport by teasing and by qualifying.

I suggest logging onto a chat room and practicing conversation there.

i just it started in grade 10 .... in grade 9 id go to parties were no one would know me but 2 or 3 people and id make so many frinds.... then after the situation i grade 10 everytihng chaNGED....... so this has been going on for roughly 3 years... but how can basic social skills just vanish?

p.s. i dont know of any chat rooms on the interweb-machine, could you please list a few?..... no lava life orvanything
