So I was at lunch trying to work this girl A and then girl B who I already worked my game on texts me and asks if I would be her date for the school dance, (college). So I'm kind of in the moment and ignore it, also I don't really like dances, bad memories from them. So this girl A, this is the second lunch I've had with her this week and I thought I built enough connection with her already, joking, flirting, kino (small things like shoulder taps, pushing, her hitting me, etc) and I decided to give her a hug before she left to go home. Big Mistake (awkward situation). Then she texts me and says why did you want to hug me which I replied with was that the first time you ever got a hug and then she says no I only hug guys I know well, and then I say do you want to know me well (you know a minor change in "mystery's" kiss asking technique) and she replies with "MAYBE" and I reply with let's find out... corny I know. Now that that's done.

I'm back at home and then girl B texts me and says her first text was a mistake and it was meant to be for her girlfriend, but I know that is total bs, and she is just saying that to gain some ground due to me not answering her soon enough. So now if I answer like whatever then I'll be the asshole, or if I answer I would of gone if you asked, then I would fall into her trap which she probably wanted me to go with her in the first place, a win/win situation for her because I don't really like dances. Any ideas? Thanks guys.

Girl B is on you, you said you dont like dances, in my shoes id pregame it up 2-3 beers hit the dance for an hour then ask her to get out of their and have some real fun and go do what you want to do . ie play pool/bar/batting cages W/e you want
