So there's a girl in one of my classes (hb 9), who sits across the room from me, so we really don't speak during class, but we usually have about 2 minutes after class (the distance between the class and the parking lot) to flirt and what not. She's been giving ioi's for awhile now (she's almost always laughing at everything I say, plus she indirectly referred to me as a "hot guy"), but I just couldn't find the right time to go for the kill.

Today, I ran into her before class in the parking lot. She was pretty hungover actually and told me she hadn't even been to bed yet. Anyway, she left class early since she was falling asleep. I decided that rather than wait another week, I should just go for it now, so I got up and walked her out. I told her I just needed to get out of class for a few minutes.

When we got to her car, she gave me a hug and said thanks for walking me out. Of course, I was too busy thinking of what I was going to say for the # close that I failed to make a single teasing remark regarding the hug. Anyway, I said we should grab a drink this weekend, if she promises to behave herself. I told her to enter her number, which she did. However, I tried setting a time and date, but she was just saying to get in touch with her and we'll see if we're around. As far as I could tell, she was rushing to go home because she was ready to go to bed (like I said, she told me she had not gone to sleep from the night before yet), so I'm not taking her not setting a time as a bad sign yet.

For some stupid reason, I decided to text her like 20 minutes later while I was sitting in class and made some joke about how bored I was. She didn't respond, but there's a distinct possibility she was already home and asleep by that time (she told me she lives like 10 mins from school, so it makes sense given the timeline).

So my questions are: when should I text her? What should I say when I do? Should I just completely ignore the fact that I sent the text she didn't respond to today?

And while you're already responding: what do you usually text girls the first time when you have their number but they don't have yours?

CALL her soon to arrange a day 2. Try and make it something along the lines of "me and some friends are going to X club / party, etc, you should come it'll be fun." If there's nothing going on or whatever, then try and set up a 1-on-1 day2 that involves things like getting coffee, doing some shopping, getting a bite to eat, then ending up back at your place to show her "that amazing album I was telling you about" or whatever. The time bridging will make her think it lasted longer, and doing stuff like shopping gives opportunities for kino.

Don't ever worry about a non-response. Being non-reactive is about not caring whether she responds or not. For example, a good text message to send is one like "I totally just saw your exact double!" Because it doesn't actually ask for a response, and it really intrigues her. A bad text is "hi it's PUA from X bar do u remember me? Why don't we get a drink or something tomorrow if u have time?"

Yes, I always text immediately so she has my number. If you make it something a bit funny then it'll help make you stand out and be memorable, but it's not necessary. Some people advocate leaving a funny voicemail while ur still with her where you're like "hey I'm here having a blast with HB, say hi HB" HB "heeey, wooooo!" or whatever. That way when she listens back to it, she remembers those positive memories of being with you at the time.

She obviously likes you. Make sure to frame your whole interaction with the assumption that she's attracted, and she's proving herself worthy to you.
