so i asked for a second date in a cocky/playful way, seemed to work. i asked when she was working this weekend and said stuff like 'oh ur free on x, if ur lucky u might get to see me', she replied with 'if ur lucky u mean!' and so on, until i made a specific suggestion about meeting and she said 'yeah sounds good, what did u have in mind? xx'.

she sent this late at night so i replied the next day, telling her i was busy until late evening so by that time a drink would be the best option. since then iv had no response tho.

now the day i sent this reply was a day she had planned to go out with some friends from class, so i can understand shed be busy and i wasnt expecting much, this was yesterday.

still nothing today tho and she has updated facebook a few times since i made the suggestion.

should i just sit back and do nothing, or say something?

If I were you i'd wait it out. Double texting conveys neediness, qualities of a beta male. It is especially important for you to convey alpha qualities as you have already set up the frame that you are the prize, it would be incongruent to go back on that.
Treat this as a form of a shit test and don't give in... (shes testing your qualities)

you could do something like create a bit of jealousy by posting pics of you with another girl on facebook to show that you are preselected (alpha qualities) and that you wont give into her bullshit.

consider the situation of texting her a second time, she doesnt reply a second time and it makes you look weak.

show her that you're the prize by truely not giving into her shit. The way I ask a girl out is this:
"Okay, there's this awesome sushi place right near my apartment. I'm like sort of addicted to their California rolls so I usually try and eat there once a week. I'm going to introduce you to this place and it'll blow your mind...hmmm, this week I have Tuesday or Thursday night free...which day works for you?"

i dont think it is a real shit test, any time she doesnt reply until late (usually cos her phone has fucked up) shes overly apologetic about it, too much so 0 which makes this a bit confusing. But i agree i should treat it like one.
