I know all about the wedding and engagement ring on the left hand third digit---

that means unavailable

--but are there messages regarding rings on other fingers--ive come across a lot of lesbians who wear rings on baby fingers or silver rings on the wedding finger-----are these definite clues. what im most interested in is the ring on the second finger---is it just decoration or is it a signal saying--I have bF but im not engaged or married--but i consider myself not single as such--

-sorry folks im not really up on ring signals---does ring on second finger mean anything or could it just be deccoration or something she inherited from a granny.

PS Ive also come across lots of women wearing rings who are totally single and just use them to be left alone by guys

I've never did so much research about it. I don't think there are specific signals with wearing a ring on a specific finger. BUT......

There is the famous ring routine (see link) If you could tell this all to girls they will be amazed and after it you could ask if that is really the reason she's wearing that on her finger.

There's a particular style of ring thats picking up popularity (at least around here) that does seem to have meaning. From what I gather the finger doesnt matter so much as the orientation of the ring. it's the celtic heart design. if the heart points in they're taken if it points out they're single i believe it is. i remember back in highschool people did the same type of thing with their class rings.
