I went out sarging for the first time Saturday night at a fraternity party. Looking back, I would say I was very confident and likely cocky as well, which makes me feel like the comments from one interaction I had might be worth more.

As I was walking by some girl, she grabbed me by the arm, pulled me in, and proceeded to tell me I was much too cocky. I interacted with her for a few minutes, and she seemed to enjoy the interaction greatly. I, myself, did not enjoy it much and was not attracted to the girl, so I attempted to leave several times. Each time I shifted my weight as if I were leaving, she reached out and pulled me back in. Some quotes of hers from my interaction were:

"You aren't good looking enough to be acting like this"
"You are acting like someone that attempts to seduce a girl within 5 minutes (despite having to interest in this girl and attempting no advances)"

After finally succeeding in leaving this girl, I walked by her at some point later on in the night, and she grabbed me in the same fashion, pulled me in, and resumed telling me I was much too cocky.

I am average looking, and I've read that that gives me more room to be cocky. I'm fairly sure this girl was attracted to me. How much weight should I give her comments? How can I tell if I am indeed acting too cocky?

i don't understand....why would a random girl stop you just to tell you that you were too cocky :s

Sometimes its actually a good sign if the girls tell you that you're cocky. I think its unlikely that its a problem. She's one person, and it was likely her way of trying to game you. Alternatively it could have been an early onset shit test. Either way I'm not sweating it...yet!
