So what do you do? Ignore it? Say some cocky/funny stuff back to her or something? I'll give you an example

Friends sister, nice but kind of judgemental or bitchy or just came across as..
She asked me whether I had a cold, I said No, why? She said my voice sounded like I had a cold... (nasely and stuff, sort of in a your voice is shit way). No ones ever said anything like that, I didn't really care but I felt like she was trying to lose me respect with the group. I just said that my voice is awesome, she's just jealous sort of thing.
I know there are some good things I could have said back but I can't really think of them, and couldn't think of them at the time.

How do you guys respond to insults?

On a side note, I'm close with the friend so I tell her stuff like learning the game etc. Apparently she told everyone I shaved my chest which I'm not fussed about but again how should I have responded when she told me
"Oh yeah sorry, I accidentally told everyone that you shave your chest"
the two girls (friend and sister) just sort of looked at me for a response and I didn't know what to say, I was a bit annoyed but shrugged it off and just said "I don't care, It's not like I'm embarrassed by it, my chest was just a bit too hairy"
Then the sister said "You clearly do care"
How would you guys have responded?

Or just tell her to go back to the kitchen.
