if i'm talking to a girl or a group of girls or girls and guys and one of them plainly tells me that a joke i just told was not funny at all what would be a good reply to this. in my situation i would have a familiarity with them as well.

It is always awakward for me when this happens. I say well I talk so much that I am bound to say something stupid every now and then. Followed by a loud laughter.

Watch some Conan O'Brian. He's so good he makes jokes that purposely aren't funny, or uses special effects that are purposely really shitty, just so he can make fun of how shitty what just happened was.

Just notice the joke didn't go down well and, before you let anybody jump in with some insult about how unfunny you are, just joke about the fact that you bombed, like "oookay I'll get my coat" or "well if this party gets any livelier a funeral will break out!"

If you can't think of anything, or somebody does try and call you out, don't let them get the better of you. Just be like "well we can't all succeed 100% of the time...so anyway did you guys see that TV show last night...etc" and change the subject. If you allow people to make a big deal about it then you lose value, and this will be remembered. If you actually notice, most people who you remember as being funny don't hit 100%, they just move swiftly on to the next joke and you forget all about the ones that bombed. If they were like "oh shit that was fucking terrible, god I'm such an idiot" then you would remember and think less of them for it.

If a guy calls you out in a mixed set, he's AMOGing you and you have to keep your strong frame and not let him do it. Try and move the conversation to something else.

If the girl you're gaming calls you out, this is a shit test and, again, you have to keep your strong frame. However you could also say, "ok well why don't you tell ME a good joke then?" You are then free to neg her about her shitty joke at will.

i like telling the girl to tell me a funny joke instead cause i think it changes the subject/she'll try to qualify herself to me so good stuff. ill give it all a try

Can I just add to this, what if someone else steals your joke? Like, I always tell jokes, but because of shyness, i'll tend to tell them quietly or make calls or quips to the people next to me. Usually, AMOGs will pick up on what i've said and runs with it and they get the attention and praise. Does my head in.
