How can I peacock while dressed formally?

I have a formal dance coming up soon, and I want to stand out from the other 200 guys wearing a suit and a tie. I have 2 suits, 1 black and 1 white, both with the vests as well, should I mix and match them?

What can I add to stand out?

Head gear? Accessories? Shoes?

I have tried this before and would highly recommend a boutonnière.

A red rose on a white suit looks striking. A collar pin, unique tie, and rings would be too "standard" IMO. A tophat, or cane would look too out of place unless you carry that off like a 19th century gentleman. I went with the boutonnière because it is noticeable enough, but not overly loud or garish.

I got approached countless times that night.
